Release Notes — September 9th, 2026

Another week, another Endaoment release!

Let's get to the goodies:

🎨 Giving experience

Gift donor form: When you start a gift, the form now fills in the fund's donor of record so you do not have to retype those details.
Donor-focused wording: Fund and gift messages now name the donor, not the advisor, so the copy matches the recipient of the gift.
Nouns funding card: We removed the Nouns-backed funding card following the passage of Nouns prop 991.

🔧 Reliability

Partner grants: If a partner platform sends the same grant twice at the same moment, we now complete it instead of returning an error.
Network fees: Gifts on Optimism-family networks now use the network's recommended fee, making them less likely to stall.

🚀 What's Next

These improvements are now available in production. Try a gift, and you should see the donor of record already filled in.

Advisor-Managed DAFs are now live on Altruist

Advisors can now lead their clients' giving alongside everything else they manage, with the DAF as a fully managed investment sleeve.

Giving Belongs in the Meetings You Already Have

Clients already talk with their advisor about taxes, estate plans, and family, and charitable giving should come up in the same conversation.
